Two SAHMs hitting the road with our kids for two months definitely is outside of the box thinking. My family members kept telling me to come back home because they were uncomfortable with the idea. First stop was Big Sur on Hwy 1...be sure to stop in at Nepenthe for a bite overlooking the Pacific Ocean...it's real casual, so I'm sure kid friendly. Every person in our country needs, needs to do this. Stay off the interstates and travel on the secondary freeways were you can still go 55 but allows you to really see the country. It renewed our spirit in being an American which I think we can all use a dose of that from time to time. Safe travels!
